Anybody else have one?

No, but I wish I did!  I have a brand new Ruger SR1911 I am willing to trade for one.
So many guns, so little time!

RED HORSE

I have one complete with original box, original instructions, and the $0.01 post card to send into Remington to register it for warranty. :)

Red Horse,
I bet the penny post card is worth more that the M51!  I am jealous!

GONRA

GONRA  has 2 Model 51 .380's.  Great shooters.
As far as I know, these Remngton Model 51's and the new R51's
are the ONLY  commercial DELAYED BLOWBACK ACTION pistols,
so all of them are neat collector items.

GONRA,
You are fortunate to have two M51s.  By the time my R51 is a collectors item, it will be a rattling,  worn out beloved relic.  It is too much fun to shoot.

GONRA,
FYI, although not a commercial firearm, the Sig MKMO was a Delayed Blowback Action machine gun made for the military
in the thirties and forties.  Only the third such action ever built.
