Hi all, I purchased a Galco holster that rides high when clipped on a belt. Makes it easy to sit in a car and use  the safety belt. It's a paddle type with a retention strap over the top. Made from black suede leather. Hides under a jacket easily.

I'm personally sort of fond of Crossbreed holsters. I don't like their metal belt clips, but there are cheap alternates available. Right now I am carrying my R51 in a holster for my LC9s. It's not a perfect fit, but is giving me a feel for how the Crossbreed will fit me.

Almost all of the leather holsters that I have for my Makarovs work equally well for my R51.
