I picked up an R51 last weekend at the gun show.  Really love the look and size!  I like it's hniqye design too.  It shot great!  Anyway, happy to be here and learn from you all as I run this through it's paces.  I bought the Smoke version and am already thinking of getting a black one with a laser.

I actually fired it last weekend.  Great with some ammo and trouble with others--I think it was one mag but Remington is sending me another.  Gonna take it out again tomorrow to shoot and will be more systematic if there are issues to diagnose.  May also just be the break-in, I ran about 100 rounds through it and had a couple stove pipes.

Yeah, I found that video and I didn't think the take down was hard with it....I could see how it could be though without the video.

Unfortunately, my range trip today resulted in both mags having issues with it being ejected during firing and FTE with 9mm +P ammo.  I'll have to send it in to remington for repair.  Hope it can get reliable as it is a dream to shoot!

You're lucky to have found this site. The helpful information from the great guys here can really help you enjoy your new purchase. My Huntsville has been great, but I would have been perhaps disappointed without the hints and tips I've read here. Good luck!

thanks!  Mine is from Huntsville too.  I'll be persistent until it's right!
