Grip scale machine screw size

Can anyone tell me the specifications of the grip scale machine screws? I am replacing the plastic scales with black walnut scales and the machine screws need to be a bit longer. Any help is greatly appreciated. Remington was not a lot of help, they said the screws were Allen head.

It's generally used by old-timers and 1911 fans.  ;)

See link above... renoel used M3.5-0.6 to replace the short screws on his grips.
