Great to find a forum like this.

I was drooling over this gun when it first came out but decided not to buy because of the recall.  Kinda backed off of guns for a year or so.  Went to my local gun shop the other day and see the R51 had be rereleased.  So what the heck I bought one.  I have about 25 rounds through it with only one failure to feed....but I contribute that to me loading the magazine with brass and aluminum rounds just for the fun of it.

I too have been experiencing hard to rack with a full mag and difficulities disassembling it and also hurting the web of my hand after firing it.

Looking forward to gaining some info.

Thanks

Hey Matt,
Welcome to the Zoo!  Good crowd here, sometimes opinionated, but who cares, we all like guns.
Don't worry about racking the slide, lock the slide back, insert a loaded mag, and pull back on the slide, and let it slam forward.  (Like a Slingshot)
The reason your hand hurts is the sharp edges on the 'lemon Squeezer".  I corrected that by buying a set of shooting gloves.  Caught some flak about that,
but my hand is more important than somebody's opinion about me.
So far, I have had no FTFs, FTEs etc.  And I have used every type of 9 mil ammo from  aluminium case to steel case.  (Winchester USA Forged)
As for cleaning, find a set of spring loaded clamps with rubber covered jaws, to hold the
barrel open.
All goes bang.

So many guns, so little time!
