New guy from Oregon.  I've been interested in the R51 since I first saw the advertising, and only dumb luck prevented me from getting one on the first production run.  Now I'm waiting for a chance at the new one.  I liked everything about the first attempt except that it apparently didn't work.  The size, caliber, low recoil and low effort to cycle the slide all appeal to me.  If done right, this pistol could become a modern classic.
