Nope.  Only option is to send the barrel out....if that's even an option now.

Have you tried putting the grip safety block back in first?  This seemed to stabilize things a bit for me.  I got mine back together just now, so it is doable.

Did you watch the youtube video documenting the teardown of an r51?  Its helpful.

I guess they were just indifferent to the clearance.  Too tight, too loose, they just dropped the block in and shipped.  Each block needed to be hand fitted to the gun, and that probably would have fixed things.

I thought about getting that one.  Maybe next time.

I would check for the trenches dug down the top of locking shelf. My original r51 did that.  Didn't seem like they properly clearanced the breach block to the slide or the frame.  Removing material might make the gun more useable.

I wonder what happens to the rm380 aka rohrbaugh?  That was a perfectly reliable gun.

So that means its not a stock barrel that was extended?  I wasn't aware that was even an option.

It would be nice if these were still produced.  All the spare r51 barrels were gobbled up to make threaded barrels, so there might be a market for replacement parts.   Make the replacement threaded for people who want that, and the people who just need a replacement.

Probably won't happen since most companies are clearancing out all their r51 accessories.

$185.  Seemed pretty fair to me.

I got the owner to sell the barrel separately.  Now to get a tirant9.

I saw that auction.  I'd buy the gun except I already have 4 r51s.
