Barry - thanks for your posts.  Its great to finally hear from a common user versus media hounds and pro shooters.  Hopefully there will be more "average Joe" reviews as the R51 makes it into peoples hands.  I'm still on the fence, but only because my Ruger SR40C is a very capable weapon.  I really want to get a 9mm and the R51 looks to be something that would fit my needs.

Welcome aboard!  Haven't been able to find anything to answer your question, but i'll keep digging.  But I do have a ? back at ya...when are we going to get a first-hand impression on the R51?  Looking forward to an average-Joe user review versus media reviews that swing mostly positive, but not all.

Glad to see a board dedicated to the R51.  Its got me very interested. I am CCP'd and currently have a Ruger SR40C for my concealed carry.  I love the gun, but its a little thick when carrying in my bike vest.  The R51 may be a good biker concealed carry and am looking forward to getting hands on.  I have very large hands and the Ruger w/ extended mag fits great.  The R51 looks to be a comfortable fit as well.  I also don't mind adding a 9mm to my arsenal as well.
