I have been on that site before but looked by gun/model and didn't see it.
They only show one I see at .130 tall is it .125 wide ramped serrated?

Thanks for the follow up. I may give this a try.
You  said you punched a new hole for the tension screw, looks like you moved it up a bit and the other hole is still covered as not to see. I will look into that.

......or so it seems to me. I cant find fiber optic sights or piece parts. Even the G10 grips I just received are gone. Bad timing...it seems the pistol is gaining popularity.

I just received a set of fiber optic sights for my second R51 this week.

I will keep an eye on this thread & wait for the offering.
Just ordered a set of fiber optic sights from Remington yesterday.
I wish someone would offer a shorter front sight to get back to where I normally aim though.

I got 2 for $29.18 in late November from Grabagun and they seem fine.
Just checked and they are $17.89 now and shipping is more. Took more than 3 weeks to get them though and that was ordered before the black Friday rush.

My R51 w/ Crimson Trace fits nicely, like a glove in my Desantis mini scabbard for the LC9 W/Crimson Trace its model LG412

I found this after reading this great old post has photos of both guns on top of each other

Back to the range today to test the hi viz optic sights I put on my smoke R51. It shot straight so I was very pleased. It fired flawlessly as I have come to expect. Today I tested Golden Saber +P hollow points. No problem feeding and I didnt feel any difference with +P. Get you R51s while you can...prices are low. Dont forget accessories...they seem to me to be drying up.

Link to sights you mentioned would be appreciated

I couldnt say no to an R51 Smoke from Gun pro deals for $219.99. I already own two. Took it to the range and used 115 gr from PMC, Blazer Brass, Magtec, Federal and 124 gr from ZVS. Not a single problem. I use Hornady Defense and they perform flawlessly. In my opinion and experience the R51 has no 124gr preference.

I was thinking I wish I knew this yesterday, then checked and they are out of stock and the price on the website shows $249.00
I ordered a smoke model yesterday from RK Guns (Rural King) as I bought my black one there and they were one of the only ones I found that had them in stock other than Buds but their price as higher and then I would have had to pay a transfer fee. They are still a little behind from the holiday season so it will take a couple weeks to get to my local RK store.
Paid $259.93 as on their website, looking forward to my 2nd one.

Introductions section / Hello all

I am of course a new guy here, just want to introduce myself. My name is Walt, I am from Michigan. I recently bought a R51 pistol after waiting about a year and a half since I first put one in my hand.
I saw an ad at a local retailer that lowered their every day price and couldn't get it out of my head so I bought one. Have yet to shoot it, maybe this weekend as I did some rebuilding of my home range here last weekend.
I did a lot of reading on these over the last year and a half watched a lot of videos but I got to tell you this gun just feels right in my hand over any other gun I have held.
Hope to learn something here, providing old dogs can learn new tricks.

thanks all
