Newbie from Ohio
« on: December 01, 2019, 09:11:00 AM »
Hey, all,
I was just surfing around the internet, and came across this site.  I didn't know there was a dedicated forum for the R51.  I wanted one from the first time I saw some pics of its SHOT-show debut.  Then came the problem stories, the recall, and all that.  After the re-issue, I finally bought one, maybe about 2-1/2 years ago, now.  I love the size, shape, and looks.  The trigger is nothing to write home about.  I'm disappointed at the scarcity of accessories and parts offered, by Remington or others.  I've bought a couple of inexpensive grip-panel sets from eBay, and that's about it.  I really thought this would become a popular pistol, but it seems to have settled into a rather small niche.

Anyway, hello.  I'm glad to be here.

I think the trigger is fine.  It could sure teach Glock a lesson or two about how triggers should feel.  :)

Peace favor your sword,
