I read about using a clamp to help disassemble and that helped very much. Thank you for the suggestion.

I had lots of sharp edges on the back of the slide from the edges not being smoothed over. I took a diamond file to them then re-blued.

Good to hear Remington came up with replacement magazines. I'll contact them about it. I did the fixes of shortening the follower legs and cutting a few spring coils. It works great but I want to see what Remington did.
