To date we have sold 140 grips since March 2017.We have  sold 5 hand checkered since the first of 2018 and a total of 36 checkered grips in 2017.  We have made the grips in flat checkered and rounded/standard checkering in virtually every type of wood. 

We take special orders by wood for checkering through eBay by going to Contact the Buyer section for questions.  If you have a special request, we can reserve them for you by your buyer handle when they are finished.  We have successfully completed many of those sales to happy users.

Again, if someone has a special wood or finish request, contact us through eBay.

As for grip thickness, all grips are made 1/4 inch (+-) .250 of inch EXCEPT for the flat checkered grips which are slightly thinner. On request they can be made any thickness required.

just a note to mention there are three new grips on ebay. one smooth white bone and two buffalo horn. check them out.

there is  a set of  walnut grips on ebay and a set on gun broker.the one on ebay is multicolored grain and the one on gb is dark walnut. both are checkered.

to texas mark, the grip you show were made by machine for remington for the first gen r51;s they only made them for a short while.

hello, i am a new member of this forum. i own a gen 2 r51 and am very pleased with it. it is my primary carry weapon. when i purchased it i saw a need for after market grip. ihave large hands and thought thicker grips might improve handling so i made a set for my gun. i thought other owners might like them so i made. a few and put them on ebay and they sold. if anyone is interested they can be seen on ebay and also on gunbroker. just enter remington r51 grips. let me know what you think.
