I have recently purchased a Remington R51. With the checkered past of this pistol, I thought it might be beneficial to have a forum for
discussing with other owners issues which might arise.
Welcome aboard! Glad to have you with us! Hope you enjoy your new acquisition.
There was lots of good info on this site; it's getting a bit long in the tooth now, not a lot of posts. IMHO, if you get one of these pistols, (I have a Huntsville), just use it to shoot, and unless you're a "gun tinkering nut" leave it alone as far as after market parts go . That's just me; be happy with the trigger it comes with, sure, it's not a technical whiz-bang target thing, but this is a devil to disassemble, at least for me. I like mine, got the after-market wood grips, and have appreciated everyone's comments that ever posted here. Thanks to all! Just my personal take. Have a great 2022, all. :)
