Title: new to me R51 from Scheels. LNIB for $200
Post by: mattwilson on February 18, 2019, 11:36:47 AM
Ive had one before and sorta wished i hadnt sold it.  Was at a local Scheels this weekend and they had a LNIB used one for $200 duhhhhh i bought it.  Ive been trying to find out a MFG date or something telling me its a good Gen 2 model and not one of the first ones.  It was made in Huntsville.  Is that good or bad?

Thanks

Huntsville is newest production so that's a good thing!
Yes it is Gen2.

My Gen 2 Huntsville has been fine. Have been EDC'ing it lately. If a trigger becomes available for it, I bet many would be sold; just wonder about any legal issues, if a part is installed that is not factory, could the supplier be liable in today's world?

The picture at the top of the web page is a Gen I.  Notice the location of the R51; the Gen II has that same R51 on the flat surface directly behind the ejection port.  It is moved up and right as seen in the above picture.
