With my R51 on the way (actually, it is already at the store, I just won't be home, to pick it up, for another week) I have a question.
I have read that one thing that was changed for the second generation was the magazines. Is that true? If so, How do I insure that I am purchasing Gen 2 magazines instead of NOS Gen 1 magazines?
The magazine follower will have a raised rib in the middle of it. The gen 1 had a flat one. Post a pic when it arrives and we will be able to confirm that it's a gen 2 magazine.
Zen is correct here. However, if you just purchased the pistol, I seriously doubt you will have a Gen1 magazine or gun. Those have been done away with. But please do post pics when you get yours. We all love to see pics! ;)
