Threaded barrels are a GO! Find them at DANGERCO.US (http://dangerco.us)

DangerCo's online storefront is live, and we have 25 all-stainless threaded Gen II Factory Remington barrels available. These are standard Gen II barrels that we precision thread and extend with bored solid-billet 416 stainless rods. The Remington rifling and muzzle are untouched, preserving the factory barrel quality that built Big Green.
MSRP is $125, but to support this forum's community we're offering coupon code R51FORUM for $25 off, and we'll ship free!
As far as I can see, we are the only manufacturer in the word to produce threaded R51 barrels, and the only other option is to send in your entire slide assembly elsewhere to have your own barrel threaded for $160.
Proudly made in the US by a Veteran on US machinery! 10% of net profits go to charity
The issues with Chase placing the first couple orders under review has been fixed, and the first orders have gone through smoothly via Paypal. First one was hand-delievered this morning!
Thanks!
Ordered One!
Perhaps this is a really stupid question, but what is the purpose of adding that large extension to an easily concealable pistol?

I'm assuming that the intention is to allow the use of suppressors.

Kirk
Two main reasons: suppressors and compensators. The R51 design has much less flip that standard pistol geometry due to the low bore axis; by either redirecting the gas upwards/sideways the flip is reduced even further. This means you stay on target, rather than having to bring back and reacquire your target. Think steel and action shooting.
The R51 being a fixed barrel design, it is ideally suited for suppression. Pistols with moving barrels (Browning designs, Glock, Beretta, etc) require a Nielson device to allow semi-auto operation. Subsonic 9mm requires a smaller suppressor volume, so you can end up with a handy little package like what's on the top of the forum.
Just a quick update, I'm down to my last 10 barrels from the first run! If you want em, come get one :D
I'll be in Asia for summer, so this will be all the R51 products until Q4.
I am officially sold out, and wanted to give the community a big
Thank You!
I hope we helped to drive up the interest in the pistol and this forum. The next item will be metal triggers coming Q4 this year or early Q1 next.
So, I must of gotten lucky and got one of the last barrels off eBay. I didn't know they were avliable here. Anyway, barrel fits great and cycles well. Look forward to getting to a range. Very happy with my purchase. I'm hoping you come out with a better trigger soon. I'll be onboard for that upgrade.

REALLY looking forward to that upgrade. if you want a beta tester, let me know, I'm just an hour or 2 down the road and can be a major trigger snob if you ask ;D

R51 with DangerCo barrel. Griffin Armament tri-lug adapter (same kind as on the MP5). Makes for easy on and off of suppressor.
I think it looks better than the thread protector, even if its a little longer.
.22tcm barrels would be kinda cool too.
BACK IN STOCK ;D
25 in run #2

Mine arrived today, the same day as I picked up my R51.
Just an FYI, I'm down to our last 5. Probably will be a little while before the next run, metal anti-wobble triggers are the next item to run 8)

I'll put aside a little money to save for it. :)

Received mine in mail today after a SNAFU where my R51 threaded barrel and my R51 magazines both were routed by USPSA to another town before returning.
Got it into place in bushing & slide with minimal trouble then couldn't get the slide to move back correctly to seat the slide stop pin. One smashed finger later and she's together. Might have to try it out tonite.
Thank you Cam for the 13.5x1.

Woot, she looks good ;D
Engineerpower, will there be a 3rd batch of barrels anytime soon?
Yes, I'm always right at the cusp! I just obtained a turret mill that will make it a MUCH easier job. Looking to start making chips on them next week, just trying to get the next batch of triggers up as folks are beating down my door for Silver and Black triggers!

That's great! I'll probably order a trigger at the same time I order the barrel. Thank you.
Just shipped the first barrel of the new run last night, i'll add a notification here when more stock is availa le.
First 10 triggers of the new run came out of the anodizing tank as well, so those will be available shortly as well. Black, gold, blue, and silver for this next batch.
I don't need a threaded barrel, but thanks to this thread I ordered a trigger to correct the only complaint I have about the R51. Thanks.
OK; despite my comments on the other thread I'm not too proud to recant my position (wouldn't the world be a better place if so many other people were willing to do so? - when appropriate!). How much for the trigger (black please), and where do I apply?
Next batch of triggers is coming out of finishing now, I have black and silver, both skeletonized and slab.
Silver is high-polish aluminum, black is epoxy enameled. I wasn't satisfied with the anodizing results, so the anode line is going through a rebuild to make sure it's putting out good finishes.
Hoping to have the webstore restocked by the end of the day tomorrow. The Truth About Guns did a gear review on my barrels (https://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/gear-review-dangerco-threaded-barrel-for-the-remington-r51/ (https://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/gear-review-dangerco-threaded-barrel-for-the-remington-r51/)), so I'm working through a bit of a PR blitz right now.
8) SUMMER SALE! 8)
15-25 June, all orders are $10 off and free shipping!
I will be out of the office for two weeks after that on national Guard training, so get em while you can ;D

Hi I just bought my first R51 (January 2020). Will there be more threaded barrels available? I'd like one just in case a suppressor is in my future....

. Everyone is looking forward to the next batch of triggers. Any word?
Was over at Cameron's website and it looks like barrels and triggers are on the way.
Don't know when it was updated, thought he would have posted here.
https://dangerco.us/
Thanks for the update. I want to get 2 of the skeletors. :)
In case posting here bumps me up the line ... :)
I am looking for a barrel and trigger. I am considering building my own, but would much prefer to purchase one (or two)
Bill,
Yeah it would be a nice addition to have. Currently there is nothing out there. Cameron is supposed to be making some more triggers but I think that is on hold for now. Check here for updates:

I emailed them and so far no response. Darn it
Same. I've emailed twice, no response.
