Title: Keefer grips.
Post by: 1911SHOOTER on November 23, 2017, 04:00:07 PM
Is it just me or do Keefer grips make for a better feel in your hand.
I put a set of their grips on my R51 and my targeting improved.
They have different  woods, Mine are Teak.   They widen the grip,
and to me, make the gun more comfortable to hold and shoot.
I saw a set of Bone grips he made and they were really hot!
But his wife says he is not going to market them.
Has anybody else bought a set of their grips?

I have a set on my R51.  They improve the feel of the gun in my hand some, but not enough for it to be a comfortable shoot with a lot of ammo at one range visit.

I have a set of "Big Leaf Western Maple", which  I used for a week, maybe two.
Felt a little better as a "handle", but I am wanting to keep mine as slim as possible.
Just not going to take the originals completely off and go without any, like I have on one or more guns some years back.

Anybody wants them, half price, and something on the postage, make that $22.

I wear an over sized shirt,  untucked in the summer,  my R51 does not show.
I really like the way it shoots with the new grips.   Sorry you guys did not like them.
