Has anyone ordered these yet and put them on their R51?????=https://www.amazon.com/Trijicon-Remington-Night-Sight-Re06-C-600798/dp/B00ZAOVJ2E (https://www.amazon.com/Trijicon-Remington-Night-Sight-Re06-C-600798/dp/B00ZAOVJ2E)
Hi Citizen, In reference to your question about the Trijicon sights. I installed the Trijicon night sights from Dawson Precision on my R51. It was shooting low like so many other R51s so an upgrade to lower sights was necessary. The pistol now shoots on the mark and are easy to see.... FRED
The Trijicon website says their R51 sight set has a front blade height of 0.171 in and the rear sight is 0.232 in.
Does anyone have the height dimensions of the Remington stock sites?
(I don't remember if they were ever posted here.)
Also, I didn't see any Trijicon Tritium sights listed on the dawsonprecision.com website, nor did I see anything specific to the R51 - fiber optic or otherwise. Am I looking in the wrong place?
Hi Guys, The Remington pistols use a Novak cut for their sights. The R51 sights measure front: .170 h, .125w. The Rear, notch is .075 above the slide, notch is .180 W. I misspoke as to Trijicon at Dawson. Theirs is the Tritium sights. Same as. From Dawson I ordered the tritium set. The front sight height I ordered was .150 H. I just recently put on a nice set of checkered walnut slabs. They really dressed it up, and feels nice too....FRED
After I modified the mags on my R51 and got it reliable, I couldn't resist and purchased these sights. I did however order them directly from Trijicon as I wanted the Orange read and Green front to have contrast and am very happy with these sights. It shoots fine once I figured out how to hold on them.

Can you tell us what you did to modify your mags?
And I am a little mixed up there on the sights you ordered.
Orange, read and Green?????
I take it, you meant two colors, front and back being different.
I too like that, but you have to order then directly, resalelers wont have them mixed?
And does anyone know any of those both "glow" and light attracting "light pipes" combination ones? Anything of that nature to fit the R51?
I forget what they are called, have a set on another pistol and just love them.

I bought a set direct from Remingtons website for $54 plus S&H. They only had the green when I ordered. My only complaint is I expected them to be
larger (the light tubes themselves) and I had to file both the font and back (dovetail) to get them in. You'd think since they were from Remington they would not require
any modification. Hope that helps... Arlis
First, thank you!
Now I take it that you have 3 green dots then, but the dots also glow oitch black and are on the ends of "light tubes" as well?
Man, that is a buy in my book!
And from Rem themselves!
Thans again.

They are "fiber optic" sights so... no light... no glow. They would not be considered "night sites"... Arlis
Thanks Arlis!
I figured as much according to the price.
Or else a heck of a good buy!
Thanks again
