Does the tighter pin make the mag release button hard to push?

If you want a more tacky grip, then you can try the stick on grips by Talon Grip.  They have two different grip surfaces- one is rough like sandpaper and the other a textured rubber material

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on finding a smoke R51.  I'll bet you will like how it shoots.  It's different than anything else out there.

I think Kirk had the same issue with cast truncated cone bullets a while back.  Maybe he will post a solution if he ever found one.
In other forums, it seems truncated cone 9mm loads often have this issue though.

Well, mine only walks out the right side.  I can stick a piece from a Talon grip (or any tape) over the pin hole.

If you can field strip and reassemble a 1911, then you will have no trouble with the R51.

I've had the pin walk out twice, but that was a while ago.  It hasn't done it lately, but I'd like to know if there's a real fix.

Two for me. A Charlotte and a Huntsville frame.

Put another 200 rounds through my Charlotte R51.  Ran smooth and hit its targets. Hovering around the 3,000 round mileage mark and it's all good.

I like Inceptor ARX ammo. In about 100 rounds, I have not had a misfeed. I only load 6+1 though. The ARX has a round nose which seems like it would be less likely to misfeed than a hollow point.
