I agree. Remington's handling of the R51 was poorly done.

Welcome to the forum. I returned mine finally took the R1 replacement. Won't buy another R51 until it proves it's self as reliable.

I find it disappointing they were able to design and produce a new 380 pistol before addressing the R51 issues.

New to the forum. Bought one of the first new R51s when they first came out. In March 2014 sent it back by April 2014 and waited for information or replacement didn't get either so after contacting them several times and getting false information in mid 2015 I took the R1 replacement offer. You all probably have a similar story. Still interested in the R51 and would like to keep up on whats going on so I found this site today after searching for info and joined. From N.IL area.
