RoyalNonesuch has two Youtube channels, one started in 2014 the other in 2017. I don't think his channel is anymore dangerous than any other. There is an audience for what he does and that's the only justification he needs. I am a long time YouTube viewer and started watching Hickok 45 on Full 30 when he started posting there. It's come a long way and has room for improvement.

I saw that also, it was Gun Talk - had to rewind it and watch it again... Thing is you just don't know when that was filmed. I'll take is as a good omen though.

Well that's encouraging but it has been a long haul. That said the balance between optimism and pessimism is about even now the only thing I have now is patience.

Interesting theory and not out of the realm of reality. I'm really getting to the point or requesting some sort of resolution be it a R1 or some other arrangement. As far as dedication goes, I'm really patient when it comes to situations like this but I'm starting to lose it.

Not me... I was kind of hoping that they would announce something at Shot Show but alas it's didn't happen...

Well that's not encouraging... I was hoping that maybe they were waiting for Shot Show to unveil the new R51. I'm about ready to concede and see what they are willing to do for me, after all they've have my R51 for well over a year now.

It looks like you've been more active at seeking status of the recall than I have. I bought mine right after Shot Show 2014 and paid a premium for it. What shooting I was able to do was great, I thought the performance was excellent and I love the design. Then the failure to feed and not going back into battery started after just a couple of sessions with it. I thought cleaning it would help and I probably should have had a gunsmith do it but after I cleaned it nothing changed. I truly hope they work the bugs out as those who received "good ones" have nothing but praise for them.

I've gotten more information in the last 10 minutes reading this site than the past year from Remington. The last time I called (a couple of months ago) I was told that they would start shipping in September... Six months prior to that I was told it would be July now I'm expecting to hear it will be January 2016. My shooting partners say I've been way too patient - I'm starting to think they are right.
