The one you just received (with flat follower and thin floor plate) is a gen 1 mag.

Makes me wonder if they even had any for $9.99!  Can you say: Bait and switch??

On my last 2 range visits (including today), my mag release pin exits out the right side.  I've been using a brass hammer and punch to return it to its proper place.  I'm wondering if peening the left end of the pin will cause it to hold better....

I received an email from Tombstone Tactical informing me that the cheap magazines are gone. They do have some from another distributor but they're more expensive.  They asked me what to do.  I said to cancel the order. 

Where I come from, if you advertise a product at a price and accept an order for same, you sell the item for exactly what advertised it.  You do NOT wait 2 days from accepting the order before claiming it's gone. To me, this smells....

I bought one of the original R51s and eventually sold it back to Remington.  Now I have a gen2 R51.  It works pretty well, but not flawlessly.  So I hope to learn a few things....
