Same here.  I have a couple of boxes of 9mm just crying to be "used".

Why ?  I've been looking for a smaller pistol to carry at work. Currently I carry a Beretta 8040 F Cougar. Being retired I work part time as a certified pharmacy tech. at a small independent drug store. At night there are usually only two of us at work. (However, of the three pharmacists, two carry. Of the four pharmacy techs, three carry. So it's not like we are complacent.)
Any how the Beretta is a bit bulky and the R51 looks like it might be a bit more comfortable.  I hope I don't have to wait too long to actually "touch" and see how it feels.

Why not ?  If the dealers price gouge. I remember back when the Ruger P85 came out some dealers were asking considerably more than the MSRP.

Hi, I'm Joe. Over the hill big time - almost 71. Some what of a novice on handguns. I have a few but mostly have been a long gun user.
Have read quite a bit on the R51 and will get one as soon as they become available.

Sure hope some others join in the forum !
