It looks like it is legal to make the sale without an FFL, if you are also a resident of GA.

I use the Crimson Trace sight, and have found that different loads hit the target in different places.  If I set the sight using 115 grain ammo, they hit dead center in the red dot at 10 yards.  If I switch to 147 grain ammo without adjusting the red dot, it always shoots low.  P vs +P also makes a difference.

Sounds normal to me. different loads have different POI on most guns. If you ever want a good watch, look up vids of barrel whip in rifles in slo-mo. the physics are the same in pistols but with different values in the variables.

Normal perhaps, but even more so with this short barreled pistol.  My full sized 9mm's do not do it to the extent that the R51 does.

Welcome from someone who has helped my ortho doc fund an addition to his office.   (Three knees and two hips waiting in the wings) ::)

sorry about the long winded post.
tdbru

Long winded is not a problem at all.  Please just break it up into coherent paragraphs for easier reading.

Welcome tdbru.  I had to pass up trying to read your OP, as my old eyes just couldn't sort it all out.  Breaking a long post into paragraphs would make it so much easier to read.

Please.  Thanks.

I believe hard chroming of that piece was a
Gen 2 mod.

As was stated earlier.   ;)

I expect it's stainless, so no hardening available, unfortunately. Would be possible to do it in Titanium, or maybe a really deep Type III Hard Anodizing in Aluminum.

It attracts a magnet, which stainless does not.  It's supposedly chrome plated for surface hardness steel, which I read somewhere was one of the improvements from Gen 1

There's one way to prove or disprove the chrome plating.  Put a drop of muriatic acid on it.  It will dissolve the chrome.

The problem in Georgia is that we're getting too many damned Yankees moving in, and bringing their liberal politics with them.  As a result, the Georgia General Assembly is becoming afraid to do much in the way of pro-gun legislation; but Georgia Carry.org keeps on pressing them.
