At Sportsman's Warehouse for $299

Hello there I just picked up my new R51 from Sportsman's Warehouse in Federal Way on Saturday. I've been pretty busy this holiday weekend but hope to tear it down for a good cleaning this week, and look forward to taking it to the range and running a couple of hundred rounds through it.

I read through many (maybe even most) of the posts in this forum and found them to be very informative. Thank you for taking the time to post - they were instrumental in convincing me to go ahead with this purchase.

I ordered a couple of additional magazines from the Remington website today (used an on line coupon for 20% off) and have been looking at IWB holsters. I'm pretty confident that the difficulties that some of you have had with the Gen 2 have been or will soon be resolved. The rebate makes the price very attractive and worth the risk, in my opinion. It's a beautiful piece with excellent ergonomics and a perfect form factor for IWB carry.

I also like the fact that Remington is thinking outside the box with this product, and am happy to be supporting American workers and business.
