I am a new member in Georgia. I just picked up my R-51 from my FFL today.  I have never owned a Remingon  before and in fact every other pisol I own has been surplus or inherited. This is my first new purchase, I am hoping it was a good one.

Welcome to the forum!  I hope you got a good deal on your new R51.  Did you get the all black or the smoke model?  Let us know your first impressions of the gun and any other information you can share.

Thank you!   I got a great deal, which is why I bought the gun. (MY wife actually got it for me as a birthday gift, but teh deal was great!)  I wasn't intending on getting one, but I saw teh low price and taht was it!  I paid more for a used pistol.  I have the all black one, the ssmoke was not availible.
