new here, first post

Greetings all:

-from the northern mountains of New Mexico
-returning to my home, the great sovereign state of Texas, at the end of this week.

I found this site when researching online some of the issues that have troubled me with this gun,  common stuff, that I will post later in those particular forums.

I'm somewhat new to shooting as the R-51 is my first gun, purchased last July. I think it's a good gun, but having no experience with other models, I suppose a little bias maybe could be admitted.

Wow. This gun had a lot of kinks to work out for a "first gun", but this is the place to learn about it. Best of luck! It's a nice little handgun once it's broken in and the mags are working OK. Mind was fine.
