New to the R51

Hello from Kentucky. I've been following the R51 since it was first introduced. Always procrastinating, I waited until the reintroduction and the Remington rebates.

Always around guns growing up, but didn't become really interested until around 2000, mainly for 'fun' and self/home defense. Fascinated by mechanisms, machining and quality in the various models. I hope we've picked a gem. I really want the R51 to be the carry piece to replace my gen 1 LCP.

I'm a terrible shot, but that just means there's lots of room for improvement, right? 

I expect to learn a lot from you guys and maybe some day to repay the favor.
