1911SHOOTER

Guys and gals,
Has anybody else noticed that the number of complaints are dropping
drastically on this blog?   I feel that it is because we as a team have helped
each other with tips and clues on how to whip this R51 demon.   It is fun,
sometimes depressing, often mind boggling, but in the end we have tamed
this Remington monster.   I personally love my R51,  The style, the feel
and the way it shoots.   If it quit shooting tomorrow, I would still love it.
It would join my other safe queen.   A Chiappa .22 1911.  No, on second thought,
nothing is that bad!

Might be.  Yup.  :)

I think that Rem has also tightened up their process.

Peace favor your sword,

Very new to this forum, but found it as I was hunting answers to the exact same problems y'all have been addressing.

Let me express my appreciation right now for the issues and solutions you all provided. I'm in the process of improving my gun from "has limitations" to "excellent." Getting close, but hungry for it to be CCW-level reliable.

Am hoping to get the new part number magazines from Remington.
