I have been laid up all week with the flu but still hoping to get to the range next week. I've picked up and printed some targets, and purchased two more magazines for a total of four.
The holster, much like the Bianchi 100 someone previously posted, didn't allow the pistol to fully seat due to the shape of the trigger guard. I removed the stitching that defined the trigger space and soaked a portion of the holster. Then I wrapped the pistol in saran wrap and put it in the holster.
It was pretty easy to reform the leather and now the end of the barrel matches the length of the holster and the sweat shield almost covers the entire slide. I clamped the excess and let it set overnight to dry. The next day I drilled a line of holes with my drill press so I could re-stitch the trigger guard, stiched it up and looks like it's going to work and look fine.
