Tons of rules? I do not like to have lots of rules concerning this forum, I want it to be open and friendly place where you can discuss anything you like, just try and keep the discussion on topic for the section you are posting in.

Posting links, I don't care if you post links in any thread as long as they are on topic and related to the thread content.

If you want to post a link to your local gun store's website go ahead if it is part of your discussion. If you are just posting a link, do it in the local links section and use the city and state name in the post title so people looking for local links can search and find the link.

Gun store owners, the same rule applies, post a link to your store's website in the links section or if the subject comes up in any thread, you may post a link.

I am not going to outlaw commercial discussions or Gun Store owners self promoting as long as the Gun Store owner is participating in the discussion, not just dropping links. As I said above, any one who wants to drop links, do it in the links section and keep it to relevant topics for the shooting industry.
