A pause for the COZ

Wow, Buds has a very good price. I paid quite a bit more for mine from Fleet Farm.
Couldn't wait though had to get one before the wife found out I had money :-)

I think the R51 is going to be a popular gun. There are a lot of people out there who will like it if for nothing else then it is all metal. If it proves reliable over the next year and gets general good reviews the sales will follow.

The buds review mentioned the plastic trigger, I think if some company comes out with a metal replacement trigger that is a bit wider and feels a bit better they will sell well.

One of the guns I own, a Kel-Tec PF9 has a metal replacement trigger available and it is a popular option for people to buy it, it is kind of a "must have" for Kel-Tec PF9 owners who are happy with the PF9 and use it regularly.

I am going to get one eventually, as long as my PF9 continues to be my main carry gun and it will be unless it becomes unreliable.

That is close to what I paid at my local Cabelas. They are having their huge 10% off all guns and ammo sale at the moment. No, this is not an advert. I prefer to buy from my local gun shops but none of them are ready to jump into the R-51 yet with it's first false start.

I paid $408 out the door with tax and 100 rounds of range ammo.

The truth guns are out there....  ;D

Bought my r51 on gunbroker being sold by Shooters Sports Supply for 329 + 25 shipping and no taxes if outside of Indiana. My FFL charged me 20 for the transfer. I think I got a deal.  I wish I could have bought locally but TN prices are high and the taxes are 9.5% which means I buy online when the deal comes up.

$358 including tax up here in Maine, at Cabelas in Scarborough.

"As of right now we don't have any plans to make parts for the R51".

So many guns, so little time!

I found this on the web. Hard to believe until you see it. Notice however, that the shooter makes
no attempt to rack the slide on a full mag. He slingshots every reload.
Shooting all those mags that are in that box, would be like dying and going to heaven! :)
