odd, I can't see your pics. not even placeholders.

lot more than 2 ppl have had the no-reset bug. my fix was to add a little lube down there under the hammer. wasn't even dirty just dry and the trigger bar wasn't dropping back in place.

Can't see the pics? That's strange. I wonder if any others can't see them either. Are you on a computer or phone perhaps? I noticed that can see the entire pic on my computer but on my phone I can only see a sliver of them and have to scroll over.

As for your reset problem, it sounds like it could very easily come back. I could email you the pics if you like so you have the info in case you ever need it.

Hit the range today and the fix did the trick. 125 rounds and zero problems except on a few occasions the slide locked back with one round left in the magazine. The fired shell was ejected and the last round was sitting in the mag like it was just inserted. Not too worried because this only happened with the same magazine and the other never did it. I suspect the follower is rocking fore and aft and not fitting the magazine properly. This would explain the early slide stop hit and the live round stovepipe I had with a last round on my first range visit.

I called Remington and they told me they do not have any mags or mag parts available and that they have been getting so many complaints with the gen 2 mags that they are looking into a redesign :'(

funflyer,
Since that mag is already suspect, Try this, the little lip on the front of the mag that bends in and almost touches the nose of the ammo may be
the problem.   Take a pair of needle nose pliers and straighten it a little bit.   I did that, and it works now.  I am surprised that Remington admits
they have a mag problem.    Even after all of us on this forum have been telling them this.   Also, if you have a Dremel tool , inscribe numbers on each mag. (1,2,3 etc)
That is what I did, to keep track of the ones that are FUBAR!
Remington should read the comments on this forum.   They might learn something!   :)

Thanks Blackie, I'll have to give that a try if the mag gets worse. I've checked every angle and bend between both mags and can't find any difference so I suspect it might be a slight difference in spring pressure causing the problem. I'm going to let them break-in more and see.
